Our Work
How we work

Our favorite events are fresh, inspired, mysterious and surprising. We love transforming spaces and translating childhood trinkets, strange dreams, or tarot cards into visual experiences for you and your guests. We think on multiple scales: big-picture to the tiniest details. While we do make gorgeous floral centerpieces, we can also help with stationary, custom furniture and prop design, photo booth backdrops, floor plans, personals, lighting design and coordination, custom pieces for interesting architectures, table-scapes, crowns, and signage, to name a few.

We Get You

We began working in event décor and production because we cherish the importance of celebrating life. We love the stories behind the events… how you met, how you’re changing the world, what moves you to gather with the people you love. These events are milestones that make up our lives. First and foremost, Rose Red & Lavender knows that the story is about you. We are flattered to play a role in realizing an experience as special and interesting as you are. We listen, we care, and we make it happen.

Core Values

To summarize who we are, what we do and how we do it:

  • A successful event is more than just about amazing design.
  • We like to stay behind the curtain. Events are about you, your guests, and the celebration of life.
  • Our designs are made with both the tiniest details and the big picture in mind, making the experience one of discovery.
  • Your big day should be perfect! We work and plan and communicate to make it go as smoothly as possible.
  • We have the facilities and staff to make large scale visions come to life.
  • We’re pleasant and nice– planning event decor should be fun! We partner with you and your team throughout the process to create amazing, no worries events.

There are many moving parts to creating the perfect event. Through years of production experience and our creative-solution-finding attitude, we can help to reduce planning stress. To sum it up, we know the right questions to ask, we make lists and check them thrice, and we know which experts to turn to to get the job done right. We will work together with you and with venues, caterers, photographers, planners, etc. to gather all necessary information to ensure that the experience will unfold smoothly. Plus, we love a good challenge! We spend much of our time planning logistics and strategies, all the while keeping a cool head.

Did you know that some flowers take time to develop, mature and blossom? We love flowers and have equipped our production studio with state of the art processing and cooling facilities. We have invested our equipment to make sure that your flowers are at their absolute most perfect on the day of your event.

We’re more than flowers! We love to bring brainstorming and creative problem-solving into our designs. Sometimes, to bring an idea or a feeling to life, we need to build and create with nontraditional mediums. To accommodate for this creative freedom, we have a fully operational workshop with a wide variety of tools and workspace.

Our designers come from a variety of creative backgrounds, offering fresh ideas and multiple skill sets. We’ve been designing and producing events for over 15 years, and have learned from some of the best in the industry. This experience has taught us to successfully merge the creative vision with all building techniques, complicated logistics and strict budgets. We will never promise something that we can’t deliver, but we will help you to design the experience of your dreams, even if it seems impossible.

Niceness can’t be taught.
Your experience working with us should be pleasant and enjoyable from start to finish. We only employ people who are thoughtful, considerate and nice. We make sure that your event goes on without a hitch and work hand in hand with your vendors to make sure your day is perfect. We have been known to help short handed catering companies finish setting up, make emergency repairs to bridal gown straps, run to hotels to get forgotten shoes and calm down a nervous father of the Bride. We’ve found that even a smile and a calm, professional demeanor can go a long way.
